" The work I do is fueled by a desire to challenge limiting norms and open doors for young girls to dream bigger. I believe change starts with awareness, and the Millennium Fellowship offers the perfect platform to amplify that message. Through collaboration with other Fellows, I hope to refine my ideas, see other perspectives, and turn them into actions that create lasting community impact. This opportunity excites me because it’s not just about what I can contribute, but also about what I can learn in the process of building a better future together. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Operation Girls Beyond Kitchen
"Operation Girls Beyond Kitchen" is a project that shows young girls they can do more than what society expects from them in the kitchen. The project lets them try different activities, learn about other choices for their future, and think about roles outside traditional expectations. Through practical activities, the project helps the girls figure out what they want to do and take the first steps toward it. The goal is to show them they can do many things and be good at what interests them. The project challenges common ideas and helps the girls move beyond household chores, encouraging them to see there are other options for their lives. It’s about showing them they can be more than what people expect.
