United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: My flow, My Identity

Education of secondary school students on reproductive health, menstrual hygiene and distribution of sanitary towels and period calendars. We were able to sufficiently give the girls background education on their reproductive health. We also taught them how to practice good menstrual hygiene and proper usage and disposal of sanitary towels.

About the Millennium Fellow

Okunola Jesutoni is a promising, hardworking and ambitious young medical student at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She was born and bred in Kwara state, Nigeria . She is very philanthropic and dedicated to providing care education and solutions to problems in the society. From being a girl's guide during her primary education to volunteer at numerous humanitarian associations, she has made an immense impact on her community and looks forward to continue doing so. Looking forward to specialising in public health, she aspires to make a massive impact on the world at large.
