" Innovation and reliability, fueled by teamwork drives my passion for making an impact. Being a Millennium Fellow will help me meet young leaders with similar interests and build skills that are needed for bigger projects and innovations that I will be taking part in. I am excited to work on a mini project I have dreamt about for a long while and I can't wait to dive into action "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Menstrual Equity
The title of the project is Menstrual Equity. My other team members and I will be visiting schools to give young girls talks about general health education while emphasizing on menstrual hygiene. We will be educating them on different tips to maintain personal hygiene especially during their menstruation. My fellow team members and I will be distributing menstrual pads to young girls to support our mission. We will self-fund the projects and also seek assistance from organisations whose missions align with our projects or who can contribute to the success if the project in 2025.
