United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Wellbeing 360

Wellbeing 360° : “Healthy just, Healthy Hearts, Brighter Futures" is an holistic health education initiative ‎aimed at promoting both physical and mental wellbeing . The project integrates hypertension prevention, stress management, and emotional resilience training into an engaging, youth-centered health education model.
The project includes: A mental and cardio webinar series, a mental health outreach to Secondary school to tell them about mental health and ways of building mental resilience, a campus Jogathon, an hypertension native language video challenge (involve advocacy with a 2-3 mins video in 5 Languages; Yoruba, Ibo, Hausa, Ebira, Pidgin.
Our aim is to reduce prevalence of both hypertension and mental health challenges through this project

About the Millennium Fellow

Salako MuhammedAwwal Olasubomi as always want to be a man who left impact through learning, caring and guiding. The attempt which he made in Secondary school was great but a bit trivial. No matter what he left that impact in his own little way.
On getting into the university, he wanted to be more than just a circular university student so after maintaining a grade point average in 100 level, he ventured into being a student leader starting 200 Level, Public Relations officer of his Department, 300 level welfare secretary of the faculty and team member who was build a solar powered incubator to help stop pertain babies death due to high cost of incubators, 400 level vice president of the faculty and Currently a well known junior Chambers International (JCI) university member and The campus director for Hult Prize University of Ilorin helping to shape start ups to with social enterprise ideas to be involved through social Impact.
