Millennium Fellowship Project: Hygiene Matters for Every Child
My project focuses on teaching children, especially those who are out of school, how to maintain personal hygiene. This would be done in their local language which is in Yoruba, so that they'll understand better. The goal is to help them understand basic hygiene practices like washing their hands, keeping their bodies clean, and taking care of their environment. Through short and engaging sessions, I educate them using simple language, practical demonstrations, and relatable examples. The project aims to prevent common illnesses caused by poor hygiene and encourage healthier living. It also promotes confidence, self-respect, and awareness among the children. By sharing this knowledge, I hope to inspire better habits that can improve their wellbeing and positively impact their communities.
