United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

" I believe quality education and good leadership are intertwined and since the growth of any organization or nation is dependent on the quality of their leaders i want to use my voice to advocate for quality education in Nigeria by so doing have an impact on the quality of leaders the country provides. Millennium campus fellowship will connect me with like minded individuals who we can champion this move together and also learn what it takes and the required know how to be effective in our campaign "

Millennium Fellowship Project: SCHOOL IS NOT A SCAM CAMPAIGN

The campaign seeks to challenge the belief among Nigerian students and youths that “school is a scam” by promoting the value of education for personal growth, leadership, and positive societal change. Through school visits, awareness programs, and social media engagement, the initiative aims to inspire young people to embrace learning, develop essential skills, and pursue opportunities for meaningful impact in their communities.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gbadeyan Timothy Oladapo is a part 3 law student at the University of Ilorin a diligent and highly motivated individual with a passion for excellence. He believes in values such as teamwork, transparency and social justice. He is passionate about education and this passion has driven him to volunteer as a tutor for pre-university student where he combines his passion for teaching and self development to help young persons between ages of 13-18 learn what it takes to be a change agent. He is currently envisaging a campaign to correct the notion among Nigeria youth that school is a scam and lends his voice to the advocacy for quality education in Nigeria
