Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Legacy Project
The gree legacy : restoring forest, restoring life responds to pressing challenges
aligned with SDG 13 (Climate Action) and SDG 15 (Life on Land). We have noticed
increasing deforestation, depletion of dams, and rising hot temperatures, which have
led to serious effects such as climate change and the loss of nature. To address these
threats, we propose a community-driven approach that focuses on tree planting
initiatives, awareness campaigns, and civic education. These actions will not only help
restore damaged ecosystems but also empower communities to adopt sustainable practices protect biodiversity and contribute to climate.
About the Millennium Fellow
Esther Gangata is young, brilliant and intelligent student pursuing bachelor of arts in economics at University of Malawi. Esther was born in Malawi and currently leaving in Malawi as well specifically in Blantyre city. She is very passionate about saving men from financial stress that leads to suicide thoughts and willing to give more guidance to the community on the same. She has held several meetings and works concerning reduction of suicide rates of Men in her society. She is willing to give more by learning more ideas from Millennium Fellowship team.
