" My family always praise and encourage me to continue being someone that is humble, open minded and always compassionate when it comes to relationships with people. As such i do not take such lightly. A few people will approach something because it is beneficial to them but i approach something with an open mind and being a powerful and helpful solution. I love the slogan "Be a solution and not a cause". This motivates me that although something is wrong and i was not part of its cause, i can try being a solution in any little way i can. This spirit fuels me to do better and that's why i am excited to be a fellow because i will do my very best to be part of the solution in implementing and further spreading the UN sustainable development goals. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Green Legacy Project

The gree legacy : restoring forest, restoring life responds to pressing challenges aligned in SDG 13 (Climate Action)and SDG 15 (Life on Land).
We have noticed increased deforestation, depletion of dams, and rising hot temperatures, which have led to serious effects like climate change and loss of nature. To address these threats, we propose a community driven approach that focuses on tree planting initiatives, awareness campaigns, and civic education. These actions will not only help
restore damaged ecosystems but also empower communities to adopt sustainable practices, protect biodiversity and contribute to climate resilience.
