Career ReDefined Summit: Thriving Beyond Your Certificate The summit was organized to address the challenges students face in navigating modern career pathways. The summit aimed to expand students’ awareness of diverse career options, increase participation in global development opportunities, and highlight the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly changing world of work. Through expert talks, workshops, and interactive sessions, participants gained insights into personal development, professional growth, and practical strategies to thrive beyond academic qualifications, empowering them to make informed decisions and pursue meaningful, impactful careers.
About the Millennium Fellow
Aliyu Idriss DK is a veterinary medicine student at the University of Maiduguri, a passionate youth leader, and an advocate for entrepreneurship and agricultural innovation. He is the founder of the Campus CEO Initiative, a project dedicated to nurturing a growth mindset and inspiring students to embrace leadership and business opportunities. With experience serving in various student leadership positions, Aliyu combines his veterinary background with a keen interest in agribusiness, logistics, and youth empowerment. He aspires to drive impactful change in agriculture, education, and leadership across Africa.
