United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: ReproHealth

ReproHealth is a project that involves educating school girls about their reproductive and general health. focusing on equipping young girls with accurate, age-appropriate, and practical knowledge. This will cover topics such as puberty, menstrual hygiene, contraception, prevention of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), mental health, nutrition, and personal hygiene. By creating a safe, supportive environment for discussion, the program will help to boosts confidence, combats stigma, and helps young girls grow into empowered women capable of advocating for their own health and wellbeing.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gift Olubusola is a medical student at the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo, with a strong interest in adolescent health and empowerment. Growing up in Ondo town, she has enriched her learning journey through diverse inter-state experiences in conferences and community-based engagements that have shaped her passion for service.
Motivated by the challenges many young girls face in accessing accurate and relatable health information, she co-founded ReproHealth Connect—a platform that equips adolescents with trustworthy resources, guidance, and a safe community to learn about reproductive health. Her vision is to bridge the gap between medical knowledge and everyday realities, ensuring that young girls are not only informed but also empowered to make healthier choices.
Through her academic pursuits and leadership in social impact initiatives, Gift continues to refine her skills in advocacy, teamwork, and project management. She aspires to expand ReproHealth Connect into a widely accessible network and to contribute to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health, education, and gender equality.
