" It honors me to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers the chance to develop new skills, grow as a leader, and collaborate with peers who are equally driven to create positive change. My work is driven by a commitment to equity and giving communities especially women and young people, the opportunity to access resources, make informed choices, and shape better futures. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Beyond the Cysts

My project named 'Beyond the Cysts' was created as a public health awareness initiative that is focused on increasing understanding on the topic of polycystic ovarian syndrome among youths and adolescents. The general aim of it was to provide information about this often ignored but common condition in my community, clarify myths and provide lifestyle management strategies through awareness campaigns and interactive discussions.
