" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a global platform to advance SDG 3 by making mental health a priority and SDG 4 by fostering education that builds resilience and empathy. My work is driven by the belief that accessible care and informed communities can transform lives and that young leaders must champion this change now. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: THE SAFEMIND INITIATIVE

Mental Health Advocacy and Awareness is a project focused on promoting mental health education among secondary school students across Osun State. The initiative empowers students with knowledge and practical strategies to support their mental well-being. During implementation, the project successfully reached its initial goals, providing students with tools to understand and care for their mental health. Additional resources are needed to expand outreach and reach more schools across the state.
