" "I am a creative person who enjoys working on projects with other people. I find it very fulfilling to achieve a goal as a team. Being a Millennium Fellow means being surrounded by creatives as well as goal driven people who I can work with. I am passionate about mental health because it holds so much power over how well a person can function in society and working with people who want to make an impact in society excites me." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Reset On Campus

Reset on Campus is a project I'm working on to address the mental health situations of students on campus. A lot of students get overwhelmed with how much they have to do in school and this project would be a means for them to relax, unwind, strategize and still get their work done. The activities in this project would mostly be those people can use to relax after a stressful — watching movies, reading novels, listening parties, painting and other activities like that. Groups will be formed among the students so they can help each other get work done. And these groups will have students studying the same courses so they could relate to each other better. The aim of Relax on Campus is just to create a space for students to find their people, connect with them and know that they are not struggling to get through school alone. It's going to be a whole new thing because my university has never had something like this before.
