Millennium Fellowship Project: Seeds of Change

Seeds of Change is a project that is very close to my heart. I started it with the hope of helping my community fight poverty and hunger in a simple but meaningful way by growing our own food. The project brings people together, especially youth and women, to create small community gardens that provide fresh, healthy produce and even small income opportunities. I also draw on Indigenous Knowledge that teaches us to respect the land and care for the environment in sustainable ways. Through this project, I’i've seen how gardening can build confidence, strengthen community bonds, and inspire healthier lifestyles. Seeds of Change is more than just planting; it’s about empowering people, protecting the environment, and creating lasting change through small steps that grow over time.
