Millennium Fellowship Project: PCOS Awareness Revolution
PCOS Awareness is a group project led by Millennium Fellows of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Agulu. The project is aimed at creating awareness among the younger generation about Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), including its risks, misconceptions, and mismanagement. Many women and girls of reproductive age have little or no knowledge of the effects of PCOS, and this project seeks to shed more light on the condition and demystify the myths surrounding it.
The project aims to visit at least one secondary school and a place of worship to create awareness and educate the public on PCOS.
About the Millennium Fellow
Felista Chinonye Agbaka is a young, determined, unique and resilient pharmacy student of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Nigeria (Agulu campus). She believes so much in her self development journey and believes that it is a multi faceted journey and so she is in currently involved in volunteering, active club participation, leadership and lots more. She combines what she will call the serious aspects of her life with interesting hobbies such as crocheting. Felista is very passionate about health, she is someone who believes so much in facts and so would love to go into research while implementing all that she has discovered from her research.
