United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: FASA TECH FREE BOOTCAMP

This is Mbanekwu Frank , The CEO of San Frank Tech and a 400 level student of Theatre Arts and Film Studies in the Federal University of Nnamdi Azikiwe,Awka. Faculty of Arts free tech bootcamp is an initiative, birthed on the philanthropic movement of achieving the SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) 1 which states : No poverty , SDG 4(Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent work and economic growth) by empowering a target population of five thousand (5,000) student members of Faculty of Arts , in Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, with high-demanding tech skills that will make them financially stable as students and after school , backed up with a certificate of participation for successful students. In this maiden edition, we will train students on 3 tech skills namely: (i)Graphics Design (ii)Amazon KDP &(iii)Cinematography and Video editing , give out three cash prizes for best students in each category and incentive s for first and second runner-ups, and for these three skills we are working with coaches with expertise in the field they are training on.

About the Millennium Fellow

Frank Mbanekwu Somto is a young and creative student of Theatre and Film Studies at the Federal University of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Awka, Nigeria. He was born in Anambra state, Nigeria. As a matter of fact , Frank has been passionate about projecting individual growth , tech-driven skill acquisition, social justice and fundamental human rights .This passion has aimed him recognition and awards in his community and beyond and has been a propeller to his dedication to social action. Throughout his Secondary school days and currently in his University years, he has successfully organised project of self - development and social impact, which he plans to continue in the future. Frank aspires to be in a professional field where he can cultivate these advocacies further, and provide his contribution in the development of the United Nations' Sustainable Goals.
