" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it offers a platform to turn passion into tangible impact, collaborate with change makers worldwide, and advance sustainable solutions that improve health and well-being in underserved communities. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: CareSphere Project
This project is a combination of several individual initiatives aimed at improving community well-being and student support. It includes HIV testing and education to raise awareness and help individuals know their status, support group sessions to promote mental health awareness, student aid programs particularly for foreign students, and visits to the local homeless shelter to provide assistance and engagement. By integrating health education, emotional support, and social outreach, the project addresses multiple community needs, empowers participants with knowledge and resources, and fosters a culture of care, inclusion, and support within both student and local communities.
