" A deep commitment to sustainability, children's education, human rights, environmental Justice, peace and equality shapes who I am and the work I pursue. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my ability to turn advocacy into real community transformation. The skills I gain from the fellowship will enable me to create a greater social impact in communities, aligning my efforts with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am excited to contribute innovative legal and advocacy solutions for building a more just and sustainable future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Eco-Friendly Futures
Eco-Friendly Futures serves students in lower-level schools, particularly young girls and boys in under-resourced communities. These learners often have limited access to information about sustainability, climate change, and environmental protection.
The project aims to educate and empower the younger generation by introducing practical lessons on sustainable living such as waste management, tree planting, and eco-conscious daily habits while also motivating them to remain in school.
By donating sanitary pads, books, and pens, the initiative addresses both educational and social barriers, ensuring that students especially young girls can learn with dignity, confidence, and hope for a greener future.
