University of Zambia Great East Road Campus | Lusaka, Zambia | Advancing SDG 3, SDG 6 & UNAI 9

" I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it gives me the platform to turn my passion for healthy living and women’s development into real, measurable change in communities that need it most. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: EDUCATE, EMPOWER & PREVENT HIV
My project is about teaching and empowering young people and women in Lusaka to prevent HIV. I provided clear information about HIV, helped reduce stigma and supported people to make safer health decisions. Through community outreach and social media, I reached those who need information the most, especially now that access to HIV treatment has become harder. The goal was to create a more informed, confident, and healthy community.
