United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Building Brighter Futures

Building Brighter Futures is dedicated to improving existing school infrastructure in schools that lack the financial muscle to do so .This will in the long run improve the quality of their education.These repairs include repainting their classrooms,repairing their roofs and even reorganizing learning spaces.Our objective is to create is to create safer,cleaner and more inspiring learning environments for students.

About the Millennium Fellow

Brian Nguyo is a changemaker and final-year Bachelor of Architecture student at the University of Nairobi, born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Guided by a deep commitment to advancing the SDGs, he is dedicated to shaping solutions that improve lives today while safeguarding opportunities for future generations. Brian has participated in multiple Model United Nations conferences, led international collaboration projects, and volunteers with local agencies, expanding his global and community perspectives. Through the Millennium Fellowship, he aims to champion initiatives that drive equity, resilience, and transformative impact across communities.
