Millennium Fellowship Project: For Her
For Her is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow Agnes Maureen and it focuses on the health and well being of pregnant African women before, during and after their journey to deliver and bring life into the world. The goal is to ensure that no woman of color has to die because she is giving life and to ensure equal access to resources, medication, doctors and health services no matter the class, age, background or professions.
About the Millennium Fellow
Catherine Olga Makalama is a visionary and goal oriented individual who looks at leading the world in bigger spaces and in promoting better outcomes for societal issues. Her focus on mental health makes her who she is and promoting that in the spaces she is in make who she is.
