" I do this work because I believe people are the solution, and every action brings us closer to a fair, sustainable world. Empathy, resilience and a purpose-driven mindset are the drivers of my pursuit. I would also wish to network with other persons in this platform: gaining insights and sharing as well for a better world. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Peer Skills Swap Initiative
An initiative in promotion of sustainable education where we host sessions and invite people with various skills to speak on the same and teach the others for free. Unlike the traditional methods where one has to pay to learn these skills, our project enables peers to share skills and garner skills sustainably
About the Millennium Fellow
Faizer Amanda Odhiambo excelled academically from kindergarten through high school. She took part in science fairs, debate and public speaking, environmental conservation as a member of the Environmental club and peer tutoring. University came. It brought new challenges, and while she maintained good grades, the academic validation she sought didn’t come. This became a turning point, pushing her to step beyond the classroom into research, mooting, KMUN and other extracurriculars. In seeking personal achievement, she discovered a greater purpose: tackling the world’s pressing problems through people-driven solutions. Today, her passion lies in advancing Sustainable Development Goals 4, 10, and 13, driven by the hope of building a fairer, more sustainable future.
