United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Empower Vijana and Women

THe project aims to bridge the digital gap among the youths and women in the rural communities that are always left behind when it comes to tech development. Besides equipment of skills, the project aims to connect the skilled individuals to opportunities through networking and partnership.

About the Millennium Fellow

Gabriel Juma Omolo is a future oriented young man who has the interest of his community and the globe in his heart, studying at the university of Nairobi. Since his childhood, he has always learnt and appreciated the need to care for one another for general socioeconomic communal growth. He is passionate about technology, he would really want their community to be a tech civilized hub, and be able to promote digital literacy to achieve general global growth through this Millennium Fellowships opportunity.
He is passionate about effective and productive leadership as well. He is looking forward to scale his digital literacy project through the training and networks that he is yet to tap from the MCN.
