Millennium Fellowship Project: Dope Dopa
A community where members share ideal places to visit, organize monthly activities, and make impactful friendships. It is aimed at keeping people active by doing activities such as participating in a hikes, running, cycling expeditions, among others. This highly contributes to physical fitness and helps in preventing lifestyle diseases. It also provides an avenue for people to express themselves, let out problems they may be facing, and just live in the moment, giving them an opportunity to approach things differently. The mental health of the members will be highly boosted in a positive way, reducing cases such as depression and suicide attempts.
About the Millennium Fellow
I am Isaiah Aengwo Kiplagat, a medical student at the University of Nairobi, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. I value open-mindedness and often find myself involved in diverse ventures beyond my studies, which allows me to broaden my perspective. Traveling is one of my greatest passions, especially if it's a shared experience. I love socializing with people, and over the years, I have noted its value in terms of the various networks it has connected me to.
