" The law is a valuable tool which can be used to connect global policies to reality. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will give me an opportunity to acquire skills that will transform my legal knowledge and ideas into solutions which will advance equality, justice and sustainable goals which align with the SDGs. I am excited and eager to team up with various policymakers to creating a long lasting solution in promoting sustainable development. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Bridging the Gender Gap

My project is about advocating and promoting equality for all. It aims at achieving holistic gender equality, where all genders receive equal empowerment, equal recognition, and equal legal protection. It is primarily aligned with SDG 5: Gender Equality, SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, to ensure that the gender empowerment initiatives are never one-sided. This is because true equality is not only about empowering one disadvantaged gender but also about creating a scale which uplifts and balances both genders.
