Millennium Fellowship Project: SGBV AND MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS
Scouts for Gender-Based Violence and Mental Health awareness is a project that unites both scouts and non scouts who are committed to addressing issues of GBV and mental health in the society. The project advances UN SDGs 3 and 5 and we focus on both genders not only women. The project created awareness through mentorship programs in primary schools, high schools and even universities. Additionally we do awareness campaigns to encourage the society to come out and speak. Lastly we are creating safe spaces and encouraging peer to peer counselling to help youths to come out and feel comfortable speaking up and break the stigma.
