" "My passion for health equity, shaped by hands-on service in underserved communities, fuels my journey in medicine. The Millennium Fellowship, through the skills I will gain, will strengthen my ability to merge clinical care with policy advocacy, making healthcare and insurance more accessible for the underprivileged. I am excited about the chance of collaborating with change makers to design sustainable, community-centered solutions aligned with the SDGs and create lasting impact across Kenya and beyond "

Millennium Fellowship Project: BIMA KWA WOTE

The Project Bima Kwa wote is about creating social awareness to the SHA programme in Kenya and to educate the masses on the importance of having health insurance and also to change the mindset of the population in regards to the thinking that health insurance is not as important. The strategy we plan to implement to achieve this is through partnering with UN and having key discussions with the relevant government authorities and also relevant banking and mobile banking companies to increase the social awareness and importance of the SHA national program and also make it more more accessible to all of the Kenyan Population. We chose SHA program because its the most affordable and practical health insurance for the majority of the patients.
