" I believe technology, law and compassion can come together to transform mental health care. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship excites me because it’s a chance to collaborate with like-minded change makers, sharpen my skills, and turn ideas into real, impactful solutions. This experience will help me create accessible, stigma-free mental health support systems that empower communities and align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Unmute Your Mind
Everybody knows how expensive therapy is and sometimes we are really scared about telling our friends the things we are going through. Sometimes when I just want a sound answer and I need a someone to give to me straight and not sugarcoat it I use AI. AI is viewed in many ways you know, but what if it can be used for some good; maybe to save a life. I know when people think about mental health projects they think of workshops and seminars, they are good and sometimes effective but we need better solutions. My project is a website with features like WhatsApp; a video and audio call, messages and voice notes but include an AI feature. So it won't all be AI managed , the 'WhatsApp' features will be used between real professional therapists and the clients for a more heart-to-heart touch and the AI will be used if a client wants to feel like they want no-sugar coated answers and no judgement.
