" "A stitch in time saves nine" , true. Rather, let me just say "A stitch in time saves many" I am really excited to be a Millennium Fellow because of the new skills and ideas that I am yet to gain, that I know will have a great impact at helping me engage more people in my community, that are in need of the preventive health education. Some of the diseases people suffer from are preventable through living healthy. Creating awareness helps to make better health decisions. I do the work I do because man can only thrive in wellbeing "
Millennium Fellowship Project: VOICES OF STRENGTH
Voices of Strength is a youth-led mental wellness initiative under SDG 3 that empowers young people, especially university students, through peer-to-peer encouragement and offering safe spaces for emotional expression. The project collects anonymous messages of hope and personal stories through a Google Form and shares them on a WhatsApp Channel and Instagram to reach and uplift a wider audience. By amplifying real youth experiences and fostering open conversations on mental health, the initiative aims to reduce stigma, remind young people that they are not alone, and build a compassionate community where seeking help is embraced as strength.
