UNITED NATIONS ACADEMIC IMPACT AND MCN PROUDLY PRESENT VICTOR OMBOK, A MILLENNIUM FELLOW FOR THE CLASS OF 2025.
University of Nairobi KNH Campus | Nairobi, Kenya | Advancing SDG 3, SDG 4 & UNAI 6

" My passion for medicine goes beyond clinical practice, it's about creating lasting impact in underserved communities through education, advocacy, and innovation. Being a Millennium Fellow offers a powerful platform to amplify this mission, collaborate with like-minded change makers, and align my efforts with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. I'm excited to grow as a leader and translate ideas into meaningful, community-driven action. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: Poverty Cannot Be The Limit
My project "POVERTY CANNOT BE THE LIMIT" is aimed at ensuring that poverty in our community and country at large doesn't limit us in reaching for our life goals. I aim at reaching out to the least fortunate students in my campus, both incoming and ingoing students who are disadvantaged in terms of money and other financial issues, to give them a hope, motivation and encouragement that things will be better in the end. Not only will I encourage them as one of them, but all seek for various governmental and non governmental organisations which can at least provide some financial aid towards supporting their smooth living and navigating throughout their campus life. Through this, I bet by good luck that many will be impacted positively.
