Millennium Fellowship Project: Youth Empowerment through Skills, Education Ghana

YESEG is a youth-centered initiative focused on empowering young people in underserved communities across Ghana through digital literacy, education, and career development. The project aims to equip participants with foundational computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, while also providing career guidance, mentorship, and coaching to help them make informed academic and professional decisions.
Recognizing the growing importance of technology in education and employment, YESEG seeks to bridge the digital divide that leaves many rural and low-income youths behind. Through hands-on workshops, peer-led training sessions, and mentorship opportunities, the project nurtures confidence, creativity, and critical thinking among participants.
By combining practical digital training with personal development guidance, YESEG not only builds technical competence but also fosters leadership, teamwork, and lifelong learning. Ultimately, the project envisions creating a new generation of digitally skilled and purpose-driven youth who can contribute meaningfully to their communities and the broader economy of Ghana.
