" I am thrilled to be a Millennium Fellow because it will provide me the opportunity to enhance my initiatives in promoting quality education, encouraging innovation, and establishing partnerships that can lead to significant change in my society, country and the world at large. I do the work that I do because I am convinced that education is one of the greatest gifts to any society, and it is also the most potent instrument for unlocking potential, harnessing talents and transforming communities, and shaping a more sustainable future for Nigeria and the globe. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Teach to Inspire

This Project is important to me and my community, Ibeju Lekki, because this project serves as a wake-up call for the declining interest in education by youths in my community. The rising decline of interest in education in my community has given me great concern because if youths keep losing interest in education, then the educational systems of my country, the development, and the progress of my country will be in huge trouble. I say this because education is the platform or the pedestal to achieving great heights, economically, professionally and in every sector of my country. Without proper education, we won’t have Doctors. Nurses, Engineers, Software Developers, Architects, Inventions, Product Designers, Economic Advisers, Economy Analysts, e.t.c. So this project is important to arouse, awaken a passion for education in my community’s youths for posterity's sake and for our future generations to have a progressive and developed country. I want to see youths being eager to go to school, to earn degrees in different career paths, becoming leaders in their various career fields and taking my country, Nigeria, to a higher level in the economic sector, Engineering sector, Educational sector, Entertainment sector, Agricultural sector, Technical sector, and in all sectors locally and globally. I know it is a long way to go, but I believe it is wise to start now to work on, inspire, motivate and highly encourage our youths to believe in education and pursue it passionately.
