" “I am excited to be a Millennium Fellow because it is a platform to connect with like-minded change makers committed to addressing pressing social challenges. I do this work because I have seen firsthand how empowering young people with opportunities and skills transforms frustration into hope, and hope into action.” "

Millennium Fellowship Project: BORESHABASE LAB

BORESHA BASE Political Lab – is an initiative that combines ethical leadership promotion with the prevention of violent extremism (PVE) by empowering youth to engage in governance and demand accountability. Targeting root causes like marginalization and poor governance, the project uses workshops, mentorship, and policy dialogues to build civic awareness and resilience. From August to December 2025, it aims to host 6 workshops reaching 300 youth, train 50 Community Ambassadors, and launch a digital campaign with 3,000+ engagements. By equipping youth with critical skills, the project fosters peace, transparency, and inclusive development, contributing to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
