" Passion for education access, ethical technology, and women’s health drives my work. The Millennium Fellowship will allow me to strengthen these passions through collaboration, innovation, and global perspectives. By engaging with peers worldwide, I aim to amplify the reach of my initiatives—G.I.R.L.S. and Coins for Futures—aligning them more closely with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am excited to enhance my leadership, expand my impact, and develop solutions that empower communities and foster equitable opportunities for all. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: G.I.R.L.S. Organization

G.I.R.L.S., Generation of Innovators, Researchers, and Leaders in STEM, is an international youth-led initiative dedicated to advancing SDG 5: Gender Equality by creating accessible pathways for girls and gender-marginalized youth to explore STEM. Our project addresses cultural, structural, and educational barriers that often limit young women’s engagement in STEM, including lack of mentorship, underrepresentation, and unequal access to resources. From August to November, G.I.R.L.S. reached participants across 17 countries and 30 U.S. states, building a globally connected network of emerging STEM change makers. Our programming includes mentorship circles, workshops, community impact projects, and a three-part G.I.R.L.S. Book Series designed to teach engineering and coding concepts at three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The series ensures that learners of all aptitudes can build foundational skills, deepen their knowledge, and gain confidence to pursue more complex STEM challenges. Through these initiatives, G.I.R.L.S. cultivates the next generation of innovators, researchers, and leaders in STEM, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and community needed to thrive and drive meaningful, equity-focused change worldwide.
