" As someone deeply passionate about education access, I am excited to have the opportunity to work with like-minded peers. I am confident that the skills I gain from being a Fellow will translate into making a real-world impact in my local communities. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: West Philadelphia Education Project

This project brings a math class taught by college students to West Philadelphia, aiming to provide high school students with additional support and learning opportunities. The target audience is high school students in West Philadelphia. As part of the project, I worked directly within local schools and explored ways the school system could be improved to better meet the needs of students. By connecting college mentors with high school learners, the project enhances understanding of math concepts, builds academic confidence, and encourages a stronger interest in STEM subjects among students.
