" Justice, peacebuilding, and advocacy fuel my passion and guide my work. Being part of the Millennium Fellowship will strengthen my leadership and equip me to address conflict in my community through collaboration and sustainable solutions. The skills and networks I gain will allow me to make a more tangible impact aligned with the UNAI principles and SDGs. Beyond advocacy, I am also a songwrite, singer, and musician, using creativity to inspire hope and unity. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Cleanathon Initiative at Ela Beach

This project focused on a Cleanthon initiative held at Ela Beach, a popular sunny beach in Port Moresby. The main goal was to promote Sustainable Development Goal 14 (Life Below Water) by raising awareness about marine conservation and protecting marine life. The Cleanthon was organized and led by four MCN Fellows from the UPNG 2025 Cohort. Through this initiative, participants actively collected waste, learned about the impacts of pollution on marine ecosystems, and engaged the community in environmental stewardship. The project combined practical action with advocacy to encourage long-term care for the ocean and coastal environments.
