Millennium Fellowship Project: Legal Literacy for Young Students
My project is in line with SDG16 and SDG 4. The project's aim is to visit children in various schools;primary, junior high and senior high schools to educate them on the basic legal rights and the amenities available to them when someone
infringes on their rights. The initiative will cover legal topics like Rape, defilement, child labour and child abuse.
About the Millennium Fellow
Rosemary Adubea Nketiah is an ambitious and globally minded law student at the University of Professional Studies, Accra. Born and raised in Ghana, she is passionate about diplomacy, advocacy, and the protection of human rights. Throughout her academic journey, Rosemary has been committed to addressing pressing community challenges, from promoting access to essential resources to fostering social equity. Her leadership as President of the Ghana United Nations Students’ Association at Wesley Girls’ High School was marked by impactful youth-driven initiatives and international engagement, including participation in United Nations conferences. She has also gained professional insight working with both the judiciary and law enforcement, experiences that sharpened her dedication to justice and governance. With a proven record of organizing philanthropic projects and empowering communities, Rosemary aspires to further her work on sustainable development and contribute meaningfully to global progress.
