Millennium Fellowship Project: Agriculture Digital Market (ADM)
The Agriculture Digital Market project is designed to create an integrated online platform that connects farmers directly with buyers, agro-dealers, and market information services. The system aims to address the limitations of traditional agricultural marketing, which often include limited market access, information asymmetry, price exploitation by intermediaries, and high transaction costs. By providing a digital marketplace, the project enables farmers to advertise and sell their agricultural products transparently, while buyers are able to access a broader range of produce with reliable price and supply information.
