Millennium Fellowship Project: TWESE HAMWE Project
TWESE HAMWE project is a four-months inclusive community and University Wellness Advocates base project that is developed for raising awareness on NCDs to Rwandan societies and providing NCDs trainings to University Wellness Advocates in different districts and universities campus within the country. TWESE HAMWE project will be raising awareness to NCDs through University Wellness Advocates from different universities within the country. It will be in line of world health day scheduled on every 07 April to encourage the community that they are responsible of making their health wealth and to be aware on NCDs through their daily life activities. This project is also designed to support a comprehensive program of aiming to reduce risks from NCDs effects from Rwandan societies via University Wellness Advocates through outreaches in Rwanda's provinces.. These educative outreaches are targeting to deliver knowledge and skills to more than 3000 citizens in such 12 sites. Not only delivering skills and knowledge to such people but there will be distribution of Certificates to all trained students which will be allowed them to contribute to all activities of NCDs awareness. It’s on those reasons, this project is planned to use more than 12 million to its success.
About the Millennium Fellow
Fabrice UWAYEZU is a dedicated Rwandan pharmacy student at the University of Rwanda and an active member of the Rwanda Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (RPSA). Passionate about healthcare and the pharmaceutical sciences. he engages in initiatives that promote public health, professional development, and community service. Through his academic work, participation in summits, workshops, and his role in RPSA. where Fabrice continues to strengthen his expertise and leadership skills. He aspires to contribute meaningfully to Rwanda’s healthcare system and make a positive impact in the global pharmaceutical community.
