" "A passion for collaborative problem-solving and a dedication to patient-centered care are what drive my work in medicine. Being a part of the Millennium Fellowship will enhance my ability to work with interdisciplinary teams to address complex healthcare challenges. The skills I gain will make my social impact on developing sustainable health solutions and promoting community well-being more tangible and aligned with the UNAI principles and SDGs. I am excited to increase my anticipatory competence by envisioning new models of healthcare delivery that are both innovative and equitable." "

Millennium Fellowship Project: The Pulse Project

Project "Pulse Project" is an independent project led by Millennium Fellow ISINGIZWE Marie Aimee. The project addresses issues of community health and well-being through accessible educational resources and interactive events. The project aims to engage with members of the University of Rwanda community , and eventually the greater Huye Community to reflect on holistic health topics and to promote healthier lifestyle choices.
During the Millennium Fellowship period (August-December 2025), project "Healthy Community Hub" will host a minimum of three online events. These events will be a mix of workshops on nutrition, mindfulness sessions, and panel discussions with local health experts. We are aiming to reach about 200 people combined across events.
