Millennium Fellowship Project: HealthReach Initiative
One of my projects is the HealthReach Initiative, which aims to improve rural communities' access to primary healthcare. Especially away from large cities, many people find it difficult to locate medical facilities or practitioners close by. Using mobile clinics and trained volunteers, I propose to be get health care closer to them. We will visit these settlements to provide health checks, educate on disease prevention, and lead people in caring their health. The idea is to find individuals wherever they are and ensure that nobody is left behind in terms of receiving the care they require.
About the Millennium Fellow
Juliet is a second-year medical student at the University of Rwanda, passionate about improving community health and empowering youth. She actively participates in volunteer work and social impact projects that support vulnerable populations. Juliet is dedicated to learning, leadership, and making a positive difference in society through innovative ideas and community-focused initiatives. Her commitment to service and growth reflects her drive to create lasting, meaningful impact in the lives of others.
