Millennium Fellowship Project: Cleanup Champion Program
Our project was implemented at Samaritan’s Children’s Home and focused on Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. The main objective was to promote a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the children living at the home.
We carried out activities such as cleaning the living areas, washing and sanitizing the sanitation facilities, and tidying the surrounding environment to ensure proper hygiene and reduce health risks caused by poor sanitation. Through this initiative, we aimed to raise awareness among children and caregivers about the importance of cleanliness, safe water, and environmental care.
By the end of the project, the children’s home environment was cleaner and more conducive to healthy living, supporting the well-being and dignity of the children who depend on the facility
