" "Social inequality and innovation, fueled by a servant heart my mom gave me, is the reason why my mission is to end homelessness one person at a time. I am ecstatic to be a Millennium Fellow because the alumni network and the resources the UNAI and MCN have to offer are out of this world. Words are not able to describe how grateful I am for MCN and UNAI!" "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Hope Haven

Hope Haven is a community of twenty-five 3D printed tiny homes dedicated to individuals who aim to leave the state of homelessness. The community is divided into five cul-de-sacs of five tiny homes each, each one separated by gender. Hope Haven entails a six-month program of work, therapy, exercising, dental, medical, and education.

About the Millennium Fellow

Armando Parrish is a bright, young, social rights activist studying philosophy, economics, and finance at the University of Texas at Austin. Armando is the co-founder of Project Lorenzo, a charity that helps the unhoused through education, immediate housing, and job training. Armando accomplishes this goal through two programs: Skilled Jobs and Hope Haven. The Skilled Jobs program teaches computer-based certification courses to the students in shelters, such as UX/UI Design, and works to find them a job after they complete the program. Furthermore, Hope Haven is a community of twenty-five 3D printed tiny homes that Armando is fundraising for.
