" I am excited to strengthen my utilization of systems thinking to strategically develop and implement global solutions. The Millennium Fellowship network will also provide valuable international perspectives, ideas, and a community of change makers to grow alongside. Overall, these will help build effective and informed strategies with stronger mindsets. "

Millennium Fellowship Project: Ecoversed

Ecoversed is a virtual community-based organization in which aspiring change makers join and collaborate with like-minded people to implement environmental improvements in their work and/or communities. This is very open-ended, and people may be coming to Ecoversed in hopes of finding ways to make their craft more environmental (i.e. traditional artists creating works with sustainable materials), or guidance with environmental advocacy in their groups (i.e. school clubs), and other possibilities. The main work of Ecoversed is to provide members with a "starter pack" for environmentalism, equipping them with fundamental knowledge they'll need before they pursue their work. This includes both the physical sciences, and even the anthropological aspects that contribute to how our society impacts the environment. From there, it becomes a collaborative effort for producing resources and guidance for more specific environmental initiatives. How exactly it will work is still to be decided, but I pictured it as a forum of sorts, with a main hub for resource-sharing of the fundamentals.
