Millennium Fellowship Project: AgentPolicy
A system simulation and machine learning model that bridges the gap between policymakers and citizens. This project aims to create an equal platform for both parties to understand each other: for citizens, it tries to translate complex public policies into clear indicators of quality of life; for policy-makers, it increases transparency in policy making and provides predicted trend after implementation.
About the Millennium Fellow
Yawen Zhang is a Chemical Engineering student at the University of Toronto, pursuing minors in Artificial Intelligence and Sustainable Energy. She is dedicated to leveraging her interdisciplinary toolkit to contribute to an energy efficient, low carbon, and responsible future. Her interests lie at the intersection of technology and community, where she seeks to drive technical innovation while fostering collective growth. Throughout high school and university, Yawen has been actively engaged in sustainable development, organizing community initiatives and competitions to raise awareness of sustainability, developing products to reduce energy consumption, and researching green alternatives to current energy systems. She aspires to translate her passion and skills into meaningful contributions to the advancement of green technologies.
