" The Millennium Fellowship excites me because it creates a global space where young leaders can learn from one another, strengthen their impact, and turn shared values into collective action. I am eager to contribute my experiences while gaining new perspectives to advance social justice in meaningful and sustainable ways. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: New Horizons
The New Horizons Program is an initiative created to help immigrant children in Amsterdam adjust to their new surroundings. Our main goals are to promote a feeling of belonging and offer inclusive education. We hope to assist young kids in comprehending their rights, obligations, and the social systems they will encounter through engaging civil education exercises.
About the Millennium Fellow
Anna Graves is an enthusiastic and passionate student of political science at the University of Amsterdam. She has always had a passion for justice and rights since she was younger and after travelling the world she knew she wanted to continue this path studying politics and human rights. Anna is already actively engaging with her local community on projects with an NGO on refugees rights in The Hague and with Amnestys student organisations also. She greatly looks forward to working with her class on social justice!
