" I am excited to partake in the Millennium Fellowship Program for two reasons. Firstly, I am looking forward to help reduce inequalities through the New Horizons Program because I know that moving to a new country can be challenging. However, I think Amsterdam is an amazing place to be able to call home. Through the project, I hope to make refugee children realize that although they were forced to move, this can also be a great opportunity for growth. Moreover, I would like to focus on improving my project management skills through this experience so I can pursue other similar projects in the future. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: New Horizons
The New Horizons Program is an initiative created to help immigrant children in Amsterdam adjust to their new surroundings. Our main goals are to promote a feeling of belonging and offer inclusive education. We hope to assist young kids in comprehending their rights, obligations, and the social systems they will encounter through engaging civil education exercises.
