Millennium Fellowship Project: SheInnovates
SheInnovates is a student-led initiative at the University of Zimbabwe that empowers young women to explore technology, leadership, and innovation. The project creates a supportive space for skills development through workshops, mentorship, and hands-on projects. Its goal is to help more women gain confidence in tech fields, solve real campus challenges, and build a strong community of future innovators.
About the Millennium Fellow
Bright Fidze, born in Mutare, Zimbabwe, is a dynamic second-year Software Engineering student at the University of Zimbabwe. A committed advocate for women’s rights and digital inclusion, Bright has championed social justice and philanthropic causes from high school through university. With a vision to leverage technology as a catalyst for empowerment, Bright aspires to emerge as a transformative tech leader, driving impactful innovations aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
