United Nations Academic Impact and MCN are proud to partner on the Millennium Fellowship. This year, 60,000+ young leaders applied to join the Class of 2025 on 7,000+ campuses across 170 nations. 290+ campuses worldwide (less than 5%) were selected to host the 4,500+ Millennium Fellows.

Millennium Fellowship Project: Health Communities Initiative
Health Communities Initiative is a project based on helping members be able to access the necessary primary Health care and other medical advices they need for their daily lives. It is based on equipping communities with Health knowledge and education such as advising people to eat balanced diet,how to avoid common diseases like AIDS ,TB and malaria in their communities. During my project, l went to Lira Anyangtir Health centre 111 for a medical camp where l delivered medications for diseases and disorders that were affecting the communities there such as ulcers,candidiasis and stomachache.
About the Millennium Fellow
Kemigisa Hilda is an intelligent,young and focused pharmacy student in year 2 at Victoria university Kampala. She was born in Kasese district,resides in Kikoni Kampala and currently studies in kampala,Uganda.She was always passionate about human rights,good health care and wellbeing of people around her community. Throughout her high school,she always promoted good health activities such as good clean water and good sanitation around school.Hilda aspires to be a community pharmacist who will provide people with better medication and promote good health practices so as to promote the United Nations Sustainable Goals .
