" I am excited and passionate to attend the Millennium Fellowship class and learn more about aqua life preservation. "
Millennium Fellowship Project: CLEAN WATER and SANITATION
This project focuses on clean water and sanitation, with the aim of improving access to safe drinking water. I arranged to make bucket-mounted ultra water filters that can be used at household and community level. The project targets communities that have poor quality water for drinking and are at risk of water-related diseases. During the project, I experimented with a few water filters to test their effectiveness and learn how they can help provide cleaner and safer drinking water for the communities.
About the Millennium Fellow
Hi, I’m Kahubya Roselline, a 23-year-old pharmacy student pursuing my Bachelor of Pharmacy at Victoria University. I’m fascinated by the science behind medications—how they’re developed, how they work in the body, and how they can improve lives. I spend a lot of my time diving into topics like pharmacology and microbiology, but I’m also super passionate about preserving aquatic life. I care deeply about our oceans and waterways, and I’m always looking for ways to protect marine ecosystems, whether it’s learning about the impact of pharmaceutical waste on water systems or supporting conservation efforts. I love blending my scientific knowledge with my environmental interests, and I hope to find ways to make a difference in both healthcare and marine conservation. In my free time, you might find me reading up on coral reef restoration or exploring how pharmacists can contribute to sustainable practices
